We are looking for a driven and highly organized Project Manager. This role’s responsibility is to ensure efficient and effective service delivery of project initiatives to internal clients by providing direction/guidance to stakeholders and project team members to drive high performance. This position will collaborate with PMO leaders, Project Managers and Business Analysts as well as GBS internal stakeholders in project management
Responsibilities
- Effectively partner with the Project Sponsor/Owner to formulate tactical and strategic plans to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements with the business unit.
- Effectively manage daily operations of the team assigned by coordinating efforts with peers onsite and offsite.
- Effectively works with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to manage daily operations
- Provide support/feedback to the Product Owner with regards to execution of sprint deliverables.
- Provides direction, instructions, and guidance to team members to continuously improve both individual and team performance. Ensure all team members are engaged and are effective contributors toward the team success.
- Drive operational efficiencies and cultivate innovative mindset among team members.
- Develop the staff capability through regular reviews and recognizing performance.
- Encourages the team to stretch their capabilities.
- Discuss feedback on a real-time, daily, weekly, and monthly basis with the team. Applies best practices in coaching for quality daily.
- Responsible for Governance, Reports, and Continual Service Improvement.
- Ensure compliance to work process standards and guidelines.
- Take on complex new tasks; establish, document and then transfer/train other team members to support as required
- Work closely with the training departments to support ongoing training initiatives for the team
- Responds to planned and ad hoc requests from other areas of GBS and Segments, as needed
- Supports ad hoc initiatives, as needed
- Other Duties and Responsibilities assigned by the immediate manager

Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience in a large sized organization, including people management
- Preferably with experience in process improvement and automations
- Able to function as an overall in-charge for the planning, managing and execution of large-scale project.
- Proven leadership & people/talent management capabilities.
- Excellent escalation handling, coaching, planning, organizing and performance management skills.
- Highly organized and able to keep track of multiple competing priorities with varying deadlines with an ability to pivot and provide support where needed
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to gather and use facts and data to think conceptually and creatively regarding solutions and opportunities
- Ability to think strategically, synthesize a variety of seemingly disconnected activities into a cohesive high-level view
- Has a strong sense of ownership and work ethic to see tasks through to completion. Has tenacity and is undeterred by challenges/obstacles and will remain motivated, composed, and apply creative thinking to overcome them
- Ability to drive initiatives by providing appropriate framework, clarity on content and deliverables, and effectively engaging and managing stakeholders
- Desire to challenge the status quo and to speak-up in meetings
- Must be self-starter who can set and drive the agenda and is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, with good judgement to know when supervisor’s help is needed
- Able to contribute to the building of a high performing team with a high degree of trust
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adept at leveraging MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
