We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Program Manager.
The Program Manager leads complex, multi-workstream transformation programs that have significant strategic, regulatory, or operational impact on the bank. This role defines the program vision, orchestrates cross-project alignment, and ensures that the program delivers measurable business outcomes and long-term capability uplift. The Program Manager operates at senior leadership levels, driving decision-making, influencing investment priorities, and ensuring holistic risk, financial, and change governance across the portfolio.
Principal Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end leadership of a multi-project transformation program, including strategy definition, governance, and delivery oversight.
- Develop the program vision, success criteria, integrated roadmap, and overarching delivery strategy.
- Establish and lead governance forums, steering committees, and senior stakeholder engagement structures.
- Oversee project managers and workstream leads, ensuring alignment of scope, interdependencies, and timelines.
- Manage program-level risks, issues, financials, and benefits realization with a holistic and forward-looking approach.
- Shape investment proposals, business cases, and funding strategies for executive approval.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across business, technology, operations, risk, and external partners.
- Ensure program outcomes support the bank’s strategic objectives, regulatory commitments, and long-term operating model.
- Champion enterprise change standards, ensuring consistent execution, quality assurance, and compliance.
- Lead executive-level communication, presenting program progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Provide leadership across multiple teams, managing project managers, BAs, and workstream leads.
- Influence senior executives and stakeholders across business lines, enabling consensus on complex issues.
- Act as a thought leader, challenging existing practices and shaping the bank’s transformation agenda.
- Coach future leaders by developing talent, providing structured feedback, and fostering capability uplift.
- Deep expertise in complex program delivery across financial services, including regulatory, digital, operational, or enterprise-wide change.
- Mastery of program and portfolio management frameworks, benefits management, and strategic planning.
- Ability to design and oversee target operating models, transformation roadmaps, and large-scale change strategies.
- Strong command of risk management, financial governance, vendor management, and interdependency planning.
- Advanced proficiency in analytical tools, executive reporting, and scenario modelling to support senior decision-making.
- Experience overseeing multiple delivery methodologies (Agile at scale, hybrid governance models, enterprise PMO frameworks).
- Demonstrate resilience and sound judgment when navigating ambiguity, escalations, and high-stakes decision-making.
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance within the program team.
