Procurement Staff

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand the technical specifications of the products to be procured.
• Assisting in the preparation of the procurement plan and schedule for the project.
• Identifying potential vendors and subcontractors for the project.
• Develop and issue request for proposal (RFPs) invitation to bid (ITBs), and other solicitation document.
• Evaluate bids and proposals, and make recommendations to management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare reports and analyses of procurement activities as needed.
• Identifying potential vendors and subcontractors for the project.
• Manage and monitor suppliers performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• preparing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintaining accurate records of all procurement engineering.
• Responsible to acquire all necessary approvals for commitments and issue contracts & agreements.
• Supports Turnaround Execution teams with enforcement of contracts terms and conditions management of change orders.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in, business, or related field.
• 1+ years' experience in procurement, supply chain management, or similar role.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and with a team.
• Time Management Skills and Multi-Tasking.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and be able to quickly gain credibility.
• Positive mind-set towards driving change and change management.
• Demonstrates fair judgement and is not cost/benefit conscious.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Excel and Outlook.
