Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support roles, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
  • Basic understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software, Microsoft Office applications, and spreadsheet tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Must be able to comply with the pre-employment requirements.

Duties And Responsibilties

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather purchase requisitions and specifications and to send feedback within reasonable time.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation of procurement transactions in compliance to company policy.
  • Assist in identifying potential suppliers and obtaining quotes or bids.
  • Assist in negotiation of terms, prices, discount and conditions with suppliers.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Assist in sourcing strategies and supplier diversification initiatives.
  • Collaborate with inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Compile and analyze procurement data to provide insights on spending trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance procurement processes.
  • Maintain organized records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
  • Attends to other related concerns and performs other duties as may be assigned.
