Job Description

In this role, you will assist, prepare, and provide support across all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, analysis, and advisory for private asset classes, including Real Estate, Fixed Income, and Infrastructure.

You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis for various funds and separately managed accounts within these asset classes. This position requires close collaboration and remote supervision with our team based in North America.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly fund administration deliverables.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the Net Asset Value (NAV), valuation, and transfer agency processes, including ownership, capital queues, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting oversight, including reviewing financial statements and reporting packages according to accounting standards. Perform comprehensive variance analysis and provide insightful commentaries.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and escalate issues between the Administrator and the Internal Book of Record.
  • Develop and monitor cash flow projections; prepare cash call and distribution instructions.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering and compiling financial information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of team deliverables.
  • Contribute to process improvements and engage in special projects to advance best-in-class capabilities and service excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and aptitude to learn
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, work under tight timelines and manage multiple stakeholders;
  • Well-organized and with high level of energy and initiative to perform in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high degree of confidence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities to meet deadlines
  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS office tools (e.g. Word and PowerPoint to develop reports, documents and presentations)
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS and/or US GAAP
  • Experience with Yardi or Workiva system is an asset
