Job Summary

The GB Plan Design Quality Analyst is part of the Operations Integrity Quality team, ensuring adherence to defined processes; client service standards and requirements for new plan setups and amendments.

  • Conducts quality reviews of systems coded and documents prepared by Plan Design installation administrators.
  • Communicates findings to Plan Design installation administrators and management.
  • Identify areas of improvement through trending and analysis.
  • Keep informed of changes in policies and processes.
  • Initiate process improvements to effectively align team capabilities with current and future need.
  • Contribute to calibration sessions to ensure consistency.
  • Provide post-training/nesting support to new QA’s such as, but not limited to – auditor’s review, peer audit, question support, root cause and trending analysis
  • Assist with rework investigations and help with formulating ideas/initiatives to reduce rework
  • Support SOX and SOC audit activities; support Key Risk Reviews and/or Audits (where applicable)

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must be effective or highly effective in current role
  • Must be proficient with GB applications and processes, Plan Design experience would be an asset
  • Knowledge of all GB systems such as:
  • V3
  • Manuconnect (Traditional and Admin Advantage)
  • Clients II
  • ESC
  • Documents
  • CPM
  • Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to exercise flexibility and judgement.
  • Ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency where applicable.
  • Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with tact and diplomacy (written and verbal); listen and consider ideas of others.
  • Flexible to change, motivated to learn, and challenge the status-quo.
  • Proven organization and time management skills.
  • Propensity to understand and mitigate risk.
