What You’ll Do

The Key Account Manager (KAM) manages and grows Eaton’s key accounts in the manufacturing, government, BPO, telecom, and ISP sectors, with strong focus on enterprise and data center opportunities. The role engages consultants, designers, project managers, and EPCs to influence specifications and secure Eaton solutions.

The KAM sells Eaton’s full electrical solutions but will champion Power Distribution (PDA) products—transformers, switchgear, busway, and VCBs.

  • Manage strategic accounts and achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
  • Develop account plans, identify new opportunities, and build strong customer relationships.
  • Engage consultants and project stakeholders to drive Eaton specifications.
  • Promote and champion PD products in key segments and projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quotations, project management, and service teams for successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and CRM updates.
  • Ensure compliance with Eaton policies and support cross-functional collaboration.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; MBA a plus.
  • 3-5 years in key account management or technical sales.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management
  • Experience with manufacturing, government, BPO, telco, and ISP accounts preferred.Knowledge of power distribution products and data center applications.
  • Understanding of transformers, switchgear, busway, VCBs, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Ability to read SLDs and technical specs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker, self-driven, and effective in matrix organizations.
  • Skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business, senior me.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Teamwork and good communication skills a must
