Job Title: Offline Sales Executive

Reports To: Sales Manager-Offline Sales

Job Summary

The Sales Executive is a mid-level individual contributor within the Offline Sales team, focused on business development support and new account acquisition. The role works closely with the Sales Manager — who remains the primary Watsons relationship owner- to provide BD execution support on Watsons, while independently driving new offline account development to expand Dermorepubliq's distribution footprint.

Key Responsibilities

Watsons BD Support

  • Support the Sales Manager (primary Watsons relationship owner) on BD execution activities
  • Assist in preparation of business proposals, assortment decks, and promo calendar presentations for Watsons
  • Track Watsons BD pipeline: follow-throughs, pending approvals, timelines
  • Coordinate with Watsons contacts on BD-related requirements and documentation, under Sales Manager direction
  • Monitor Watsons sell-in and sell-out performance; flag gaps and escalate to Sales Manager
  • Liaise with Sales Ops – Watsons to ensure BD commitments are operationally executed


New Account Development

  • Prospect and qualify potential new offline retail accounts aligned with strategic direction set by the Sales Manager
  • Own the full BD cycle for new accounts: outreach, pitch, negotiation, onboarding, and handover
  • Maintain an active pipeline tracker with regular reporting to the Sales Manager
  • Represent Dermorepubliq professionally in external partner meetings and trade engagements


Coordination & Reporting

  • Contribute data and insights to monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Coordinate internally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Trade Marketing to support account requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of BD activities, proposals, and account status


Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain on stock availability and lead times for accounts being onboarded or expanded
  • Work with Trade Marketing to align on promo mechanics, campaign materials, and activation support for Watsons BD initiatives and new accounts Coordinate with Sales Operations on sell-in/sell-out reporting, promo setup, and documentation requirements
  • Align with Marketing on brand guidelines, product launches, and campaign timelines relevant to BD proposals and partner presentations
  • Loop in Retail Operations on logistics and inventory movement for newly activated accounts
  • Coordinate with Finance / Procurement as needed for trade terms, contracts, and account onboarding requirements
  • Escalate unresolved cross-functional gaps to the Sales Manager with a clear summary and recommended next steps.


KEY KPIs

  • Watsons BD Pipeline Completion — % of BD tasks completed on time vs. Sales Manager's plan
  • New Account Conversion Rate — % of qualified prospects successfully onboarded
  • New Accounts Onboarded — # of activated new accounts per quarter
  • Proposal Turnaround Time — avg. days from brief to submission of BD proposals
  • Field / Partner Meeting Completion — % of planned BD meetings conducted per month
  • Issue Resolution Turnaround — avg. days to resolve flagged BD or execution gaps


Qualification And Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field


Experience

  • 2–3 years in sales, account management, or business development
  • Background in FMCG, beauty, or personal care strongly preferred
  • Prior exposure to Watsons, Mercury Drug, Robinsons Retail, or comparable modern trade is a strong advantage
  • Proven track record of executing BD activities and managing accounts independently


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong execution and follow-through — can run BD tasks independently with clear direction
  • Good communicator — comfortable in external partner meetings and proposal presentations
  • Data-driven and comfortable with sell-in/sell-out metrics and trade term tracking
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong ownership mindset
  • Collaborative — able to work cross-functionally within a fast-growing team
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience a plus


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid role combining office coordination and regular account related meetings and store visits
  • Close collaboration with Sales, Retail Operations, SCM, Marketing and other support departments
  • May require extended hours during launches, campaigns, and peak retail periods
