Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Officer, Wide Area Network

What Are The Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the network infrastructure of all URC plants, warehouses and offices across the Philippines
• Local Network (Switches, Access Points & Cabling)
• Wide Network (Internet connectivity, Firewall and Prisma Access - SDWAN & SaSE)
• Work with vendors (Service Providers and Telecom) to ensure availability and reliability of network services to end users
• Ensure that the established OKR/KPI are met regularly, and identify improvement as needed
  
  

Key Hiring Expectations

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall Security (not limited to L1 support).
• Proficiency in Prisma Access and Panorama features and configurations, deployment and modification.
• Demonstrated ability to implement, deployment, modification, configure, and troubleshoot WAN security solutions.
• Proven track record of project ownership and initiative in security implementations.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions without constant supervision.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  
  

What Are The Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Palo Alto certifications (e.g., PCNSA, PCNSE) are highly desirable.
• 5+ years of experience in WAN and Palo Alto firewall security roles.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, VPNs, and cloud-based security solutions.
