Our Manila operation is one of two global design hubs that support the delivery of projects across our operating regions and is a key component to our success.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate and perform tasks in line with the local reporting requirements in coordination with the local Finance team. In addition, there will be group related tasks in coordination with the Group Finance Team and the CFO to ensure reporting standards are delivered to, consistently and accurately.

The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate degree in Accounting / Finance or an equivalent professional qualification and should have relevant experience in Financial Accounting. Moreover, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the running of finance systems and associated projects, takes responsibility for critical business finance function, monitoring of financial projects and reporting facilities.

You are encouraged to escalate recommendations and plans to ensure that we are providing best-practice support to our teams, in the delivery of your responsibilities and in the smooth running of the Finance function.

what you will be doing

  • Support the Project Management and Accounting modules in D365 F&O, including project setup, maintenance, and closure in accordance with contracts and supporting documentation
    • Assist in Structuring projects based on approved Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
    • Create project numbers following successful bid awards
    • Input and maintain all relevant project master data accurately
    • Assist with Updating workplans, loading budgets and forecasts, and ensuring fee allocation across project stages
    • Monitor project fees and review the issuance of client and subconsultant invoices
    • Support collections and accounts receivable (AR) activities, including reporting AR status to stakeholders
    • Assist in establishing and executing internal controls across project financial processes
  • Provide support in project analysis and reporting on Project Financial Status (PFS) to Project Leads and Management
  • Assist in the preparation and development of project financial packs and participate in project reviews
  • Ensure timesheets are completed accurately and support proper reflection of project utilization in line with company guidelines
  • Support data cleansing, validation, and pre-implementation activities related to CRM and PMA as part of the D365 go-live initiative
what we are looking for

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Exposure to Project accounting / project finance, ideally from Shared Services or Consultancy is a n advantage
  • Knowledgeable in ERP System is required: ((Oracle, SAP & D365 F&O is preferred)

  • Good report-writing and English communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Analytical thinker, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to work under supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders
