Junior Drafter CAD Drafter Dayshift

Employment Type: Full-Time Employment

Work Setup: Onsite onboarding for one week, then transition to a hybrid setup (twice a week onsite, Tuesday and Wednesday)

Work Schedule: Dayshift (Mondays to Fridays)

Location: Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Salary Package: 40,000 to 50,000 PHP/Monthly

Position Overview

The Junior Drafter / BIM Drafter is responsible for assisting the engineering and design team in producing accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and construction documentation using BIM and CAD software. The role involves preparing detailed drawings for structural and architectural elements, supporting precast and concrete detailing, and ensuring drawings comply with project specifications and drafting standards. Works closely with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure models and drawings are coordinated, accurate, and ready for fabrication and construction. The role plays an important part in supporting efficient design, manufacturing, and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and Technical Drawings
• Prepare and update technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation based on project requirements and engineering specifications.
• Produce 2D drawings including plans, sections, and elevations with accurate annotations and dimensions.
• Structural Detailing Support
• Assist in the preparation of structural and reinforcement detailing for concrete elements. - Review structural and architectural plans to ensure drawings reflect correct measurements and design intent. Support the development of general arrangement plans and set-out drawings.
• Drawing Coordination
• Work with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.
• Assist in reviewing drawings to identify inconsistencies or design conflicts and update documentation when needed.
• Documentation and Standards
• Follow company drafting standards and project documentation guidelines when preparing drawings.
• Proper version control and documentation updates. Project specifications and applicable construction standards.
• Quality Assurance
• Perform self-checks on drawings and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission. Update drawings based on feedback from project leads or engineers.
• Team Collaboration
• Support the engineering and design teams with drafting and documentation tasks. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines and documentation requirements are met.
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering prefferably licensed.
• At least 2 years of experience in architectural or structural drafting.
• Experience working with structural concrete or precast systems is an advantage.
• Exposure to rebar detailing or structural documentation is preferred but not strictly required.
• Proficiency in drafting and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM tools.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Such as, General Arrangement Plans, Set-out or layout drawings, Shop drawings and related construction documentation.
• Understanding of basic drafting standards and construction documentation practices.
• Familiarity with architectural and engineering terminology, symbols, and drawing conventions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in technical drawings.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• At least 1 year background on drafting precast systems
