The Junior Product Representative manages assigned customer accounts and handles the full sales cycle. This role is for candidates without prior industry experience and focuses on learning the products, customers, and sales process while gradually building independence.
Duties And Responsibilities
Account Management (Full Sales Cycle)
Manage assigned accounts from quotation to order fulfillment and after-sales follow-ups.
Handle customer concerns and coordination.
Track receivables and ensure collections within agreed terms.
Customer Visits
Conduct regular customer visits to maintain relationships and monitor developments.
Provide updates on customer feedback, issues, and opportunities.
Product Footprint Expansion
Identify opportunities to introduce additional products to existing customers.
Cross-sell:
■ Emulsions
■ Colorants/pigment dispersions
■ Auxiliary products
Business Development
Generate new leads within the coatings industry.
Convert prospects into active accounts with guidance.
Product Presentations
Conduct basic product presentations.
Prepare samples, proposals, and supporting materials.
Project & Training Coordination
Coordinate product trials and development projects.
Arrange customer training with the technical team.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Production, QC, Supply Chain, R&D, and Marketing.
Follow up on orders, samples, and timelines.
Sales Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate account records.
Prepare quotations and follow-ups.
Submit weekly reports and weekly highlights without fail.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities and customer needs.
Report potential opportunities.
Qualifications
Graduate of Bachelor in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and other related courses
Open to Fresh Graduates (Open to learning technical side of the coatings and construction industry)
At least 1 year of sales experience within a similar industry (preferably in coatings, chemicals or related industries)
With strong communication skills
Possesses excellent customer service skills
Knowledgeable in using computer and applications
With Driver’s License and can drive
Willing to do sales fieldwork
Willing for 6-days workweek schedule
Amenable to report onsite in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
