Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Administer and maintain servers, databases, and applications to ensure their availability, security, and performance.
  • Monitor and maintain the company's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard data, systems, and networks.
  • Assist in the management of user access controls and data security protocols.
  • Manage data backup procedures and test disaster recovery plans. Ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
  • Create user guides and documentation for common technical issues.
  • Conduct regular security audits and system backups.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades to enhance IT infrastructure and processes.
  • Schedule periodic maintenance for hardware and software
  • Conduct training sessions for employees to enhance their technical skills and awareness. Provide guidance on best practices for using IT resources.
  • Handle enrollment of employees in the biometrics system.
  • Create official company email for newly on boarded employees.
  • Attends to other related concerns and performs other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in IT support, systems administration, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and IT troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and other common business applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
