As a purposeful employer, our Finance Team is critical to our overall success. Our Manila operation is one of two global design hubs that support the delivery of projects across our operating regions and is a key component to our success.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification, with relevant experience in Financial Accounting. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for managing finance systems and related projects, overseeing key business finance functions, and monitoring financial processes and reporting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You are encouraged to escalate recommendations and plans to ensure that we are providing best-practice support to our teams, in the delivery of your responsibilities and in the smooth running of the Finance function.

what you will be doing

• Finance Support – APAC
• Assists in the administration of account entries, documents, payments & finances for APAC entities of the Group.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, & other reports
• Uploading of Vendor invoices in the software
• Assist in Finance Monthly Closing as needed. This includes recording adjustments for prepayments, accruals, depreciations etc.
• Preparation and uploading of external and intercompany invoices in timely manner.
• Liaison with local authorities for statutory compliance, statutory auditors including support in timely finalisation & filing of statutory returns.
• Support the Group Finance Team in reporting to the Lenders & PE holders
• Liaising with the consultants for timely filing of VAT & Tax returns for APAC entities and sharing the required documentation with them.
  

what we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance or related field
• 8 + years proven working experience in the accounting and finance.
• Prior experience in dealing with VAT & Tax matters for APAC businesses
• Strong background and knowledge in ERP System- preferably D365
• Excellent report-writing and English communication skills.
• Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
• Self-starter demonstrating commitment, a strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders and authorities in Manila.
