The Finance Director will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our shared service company. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this individual will lead a team of finance professionals and oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance. The Finance Director will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to drive business performance and ensure the effective utilization of resources.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the companys objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process, including variance analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls framework.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in financial operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 7- 10 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience working in a shared service environment or similar centralized finance function is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications; experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is a plus.
