Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Engineer, Construction Project .

Role

The Engineer will be engaged to provide services related to the construction of the Common and Production Facilities at the URC Calamba Plant Master Plan Project site. During the course of the assignment, the Engineer will play a key role in the execution and oversight of the following major construction components:

• Construction of RM/PM Warehouse:
• Site development
• Structural Foundations
• Slab on grade (SOG)
• PEB Structural Steel Works
• Architectural works
• MEFPS Works
• Construction of Boiler House:
• Structural Foundation Works (Equipment foundation, Footings & Pedestal)
• PEB Structural Steel Works.
• Slab on grade (SOG)
• Architectural works
• MEFPS Works
  
  

The scope of work is expected to be implemented over a two-year period , unless additional facilities are approved that would extend the overall project timeline.

Scope Of Works

• Oversee Civil Works by managing site grading, drainage, roadworks, and earthworks in alignment with approved design specifications and standards set by the design team.
• Supervise Structural Construction to ensure accurate execution of foundations, columns, beams, and other load-bearing elements, maintaining structural integrity and compliance.
• Implement Architectural Finishes through effective coordination and supervision of the installation of walls, ceilings, flooring, and all finishing materials to meet quality and aesthetic requirements.
• Ensure Quality Control by conducting regular inspections and tests to verify that materials and workmanship comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate Across Disciplines by aligning civil and architectural activities with MEP and other trades to prevent design clashes, ensure seamless integration, and maintain construction timelines.
• Manage Project Timelines and Budget by closely monitoring progress against the critical path, projecting timelines and costs, and ensuring actual site expenditures remain within the approved budget.
• Lead RFI/RFA Management by proactively flagging design issues, driving timely responses from the design team, and ensuring immediate implementation of resolutions on site.
• Engaged to support quality assurance and quality control activities for the construction/implementation
