POSITION TITLE: Record to Report Ops Analyst

WORK SETUP: Return to Office

Overall Purpose

We are hiring a Deal Desk Analyst to support OpenAIs Deal Desk team in optimizing deal execution and maintaining compliance with internal policies and revenue recognition standards. This position will play a vital role in managing the quote-to-close cycle, ensuring data integrity, and working cross-functionally to support efficient and compliant deal operations.

Responsibilities

Quote Generation Support

• Assist in reviewing and refining quotes to ensure they meet internal standards for accuracy, pricing, discounting, and approval workflows. Should have a background in deal quoting, deal structuring, and segment approvals.
  
  

Deal Review & Compliance

• Partner with the Deal Desk and Technical Revenue teams to review non-standard deals, confirming alignment with internal policies, revenue recognition requirements, and business controls.
  
  

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Act as a key liaison across Sales, Finance, and Revenue teams-responding to ad hoc inquiries and helping to move deals forward efficiently and compliantly.
  
  

Data Quality & System Hygiene

• Ensure data across systems like Salesforce, CPQ, and Slack is accurate and consistent. Proactively flag discrepancies and identify opportunities to streamline or enhance data integrity.
  
  

Reporting & Operational Insights

• Leverage Salesforce and other GTM tools to create reports that provide visibility into deal trends, process bottlenecks, and sales cycle metrics-enabling better decision-making across teams.
  
  

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the global deal desk, streamline exception processes and accelerate deal cycle

Qualifications

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Deal Desk / Quotation Management / Pricing & Quotation
• Can also consider any of the following background: Quote / Quote to Cash / Quote and Sales Operations
• Open to any CRM tools
