Your Role And Responsibilities

A Data Engineer with expertise in Data Integration is responsible for designing and building solutions to transfer data from operational and external environments to the business intelligence environment. They utilize tools such as Informatica, Ab Initio software, and DataStage (formerly Ascential) - IBMs WebSphere Data Integration Suite. This role involves creating and implementing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, ensuring the seamless flow of data throughout the business intelligence solutions lifecycle.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Experience in Datawarehousing/Business Intelligence/Analytics projects or data extraction/migration projects
• Understanding and hands on experience in all phases of project lifecycle & has implementation involvement in at least 4 project cycles
• Extensive experience in on ETL and data processing using ETL software: Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Informatica Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC), Informatica Data Engineering Integration (DEI)
• Strong understanding of data integration concepts, ETL process and data quality management.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL data mappings, transformations, and workflows.
• Evaluate potential technical solutions and make recommendations to resolve data issues especially on performance assessment for complex data transformations and long running data processes.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL databases, equipped with key SQL Skillsets on databases such as Oracle, Teradata and MS-SQL Server
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication (with effective written and verbal communications skills) and collaboration skills
• Team player to ensure team meets delivery targets.
