We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of CSE - D - Processing - MIDDLE OFFICE SCOTLAND - MNL.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To support rollout of new products/ activities within Investment Operations & ensure its successful implementation.
  • Active participation and support of migration / re-migration of funds & adherence to all project/migration timelines.
  • Review the Postings/Reconciliation Packs/ Trades Upload.
  • Review the deliverables of upstream shells with regard to accuracy of breaks reported.
  • Perform maker and checker activities as and when required.
  • Raising the exceptions with appropriate teams
  • Updating all MIS/trackers as required by the process.

Requirements

  • University Graduate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities.
  • Ability to monitor performance against objectives.
  • Proven ability to work independently and to motivate and influence others.
  • Desire to achieve service excellence which is recognised by all HSS clients, competitors and industry bodies

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Basic knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting, mutual funds and Investment Operations.
  • Knowledge of Derivatives Instruments
  • Additional qualifications related to financial industry including IOC will be given preference
  • Individuals having worked in different departments/ functions will be given preference.
