Job Description
- Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit TikTok content for the Quezon City Tourism Department
- Create engaging short-form videos that highlight:
- tourist spots and attractions
- food and dining experiences
- arts, culture, and heritage
- events and festivals
- Monitor and identify relevant TikTok trends, sounds, formats, and storytelling styles
- Develop creative content ideas that make Quezon City more discoverable, relatable, and engaging online
- Cover on-ground tourism events, launches, local features, and city attractions
- Write compelling hooks, captions, and video copy optimized for social media engagement
- Work closely with the digital, promotions, and events teams to align content with campaigns and branding initiatives
- Repurpose TikTok content for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and other digital platforms
- Track content performance and recommend improvements based on engagement and analytics
- Help build a strong, relevant, and youth-friendly digital presence for QC Tourism Department
- Bachelor?s degree in Communications, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or related field is preferred
- Proven experience in TikTok content creation, short-form video production, or digital storytelling
- Strong understanding of TikTok culture, trends, platform behavior, and best practices
- Skilled in video shooting, mobile content creation, and editing
- Proficient in editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar platforms
- Strong storytelling, creative writing, and content ideation skills
- Comfortable doing on-ground shoots and creating content in dynamic environments
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative setting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver timely content
- Experience in tourism, lifestyle, food, events, culture, or destination content is an advantage
