We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Operations Associate for Philippine Contact Centre.

In This Role, You Will

  • Answer incoming phone calls from our HSBC customers in a polite and friendly way, instilling customer confidence and resolving customer’s issues at first contact where possible
  • Offers value added products and services based on customer needs analysis and ensures customer understanding of those products
  • Provide excellent customer service to medium complexity inbound customer calls by keeping up to date on training and internal communications
  • Handle multiple propositions (i.e Advance) or multiple products (i.e. Loans, Mortgage, Core Banking, Cards)
  • Generate customer loyalty through strong knowledge of key products and services

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Must be proficient in language(s) required by the department (English and Filipino)
  • Open to working flexible shifting schedules
  • Must be flexible, customer centric and have the ability to thrive in a team environment seeking feedback and open to development
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Proficiency with personal computers and basic software packages and specialised applications

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
