Your Role

As an Auto Loan Underwriter, you will work alongside the current underwriting team and take responsibility for structuring, reviewing, and evaluating loan applications in accordance with program guidelines.

Specifically, You Will

Review and underwrite indirect auto loan applications strictly in line with established credit guidelines.

Structure loan terms efficiently and make clear, definitive approve or decline decisions.

Communicate with dealerships professionally as needed to support and facilitate the underwriting process.

Send income verification links directly to applicants once the dealership indicates readiness.

Verify income results meticulously to ensure full compliance with program requirements.

Generate digital e-contract packets within the internal system immediately following income verification approval.

Email completed e-contract packets to dealerships in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain a high level of accuracy, structural consistency, and adherence to underwriting standards.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

Strong technological literacy with an absolute comfort leveraging modern digital underwriting tools (as opposed to performing debt and loan calculations primarily by hand).

Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong independent decision-making skills.

Ability to work autonomously while maintaining highly collaborative dynamics with the broader underwriting team.

Comfort operating efficiently within a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills/Expertise

Direct experience underwriting indirect auto loans.

Familiarity or hands-on experience working with AI-driven processing or automation tools.
