Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced tax accountant who is motivated, an excellent communicator, and driven to excel in their career. This is a permanent full-time work from home position. You will be familiar with the preparation of financial statements and Australian tax returns. We are looking for team members who can take initiative, work independently as well as within a team and navigate through challenges that come their way.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements, tax returns, and other tax compliance lodgements for individuals, trusts, partnerships and companies in accordance with Australian Taxation Laws.
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Assist directors and seniors with various matters including bookkeeping and payroll related matters, compliance and tax advisory.
• Communicate with clients (when required) to gather information and resolve queries.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in public practice with a focus on Australian tax and business services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Philippines CPA qualified
• Excellent Xero (and its ecosystem of applications) and Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
