Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer Global Operations Command Center GOCC

The Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to provide tier one technical support at the Global Operations Command Center in Quezon City, Philippines. Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor infrastructure components on-premises and in the cloud and perform daily system activities.
• Provide 1st level support for issues related to infrastructure, including IaaS and PaaS components, as part of a team that delivers 24/7 operational services.
• Perform system checks and basic maintenance plans, troubleshoot system operating problems, and determine the cause of system interruptions.
• Assist Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application teams in creating and handling monitoring and troubleshooting tasks, and in the coordination and resolution of incidents.
• Document procedures and contribute to the onboarding of new tools and processes through improved automation.
• Work Arrangement: This position requires full-time, onsite presence at the Global Operations Command Center in Quezon City, Philippines.
• 24/7/365 Coverage: As part of a 24/7/365 operation, the role involves providing continuous support to maintain infrastructure and IT services.
• Shifting Schedules: The position operates on an 8-hour shift schedule, 5 days a week, with shifts alternating between early, mid, and night shifts. Shift patterns may change based on management and business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in supporting applications in production environments running on Linux
• Knowledge in Incident Management and Problem Management
• Experience in monitoring and basic troubleshooting
• Documentation and administration skills
• Must possess at least a bachelors degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience working with IaaS and PaaS in Microsoft Azure, such as Managed SQL web apps, etc.
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
• AZ900 Certification is a plus
• Preferably knowledge in SQL administration and IIS administration
