We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Financial Crime Risk Stewardship, CoE.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support in managing Financial Crime risks by providing oversight and direction of the business controls
• Engage with FLOD and SLOD to ensure transparency relating to risks and control assessments, ongoing control remediation plans and trigger events oversight for both internal and external events.
• The role requires strong partnership at a regional and country level working across the entire FC structure as well as with the lines of business and functions including DBS where applicable.
• Preparation, review, challenge and consolidation of accurate data, reports, and presentation packs for key executive meetings/forums.
• Support in developing and communicating a powerful and compelling vision that inspires and engages people with the HSBC values and goals as the basis of an inclusive, high performance, customer-centered culture.
• Support in leading, developing and motivating the leadership team to attract, retain and develop talent to provide for succession and ensure delivery of business objectives.
• Drive and encourage constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and taking prompt action to address any activities and behaviors that are not consistent with HSBCs diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers.
• Work effectively as part of a team, taking the lead where appropriate and contributing to team output and collaboration through communication, initiative / being pro-active, cooperation, ownership, and identification of improvements.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Expert in Adobe design applications (ie Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier, etc..)
• Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
• Video production experience.
• Working knowledge of video creation process from pre to post production
• Skilled at storyboarding, templating, editing, and illustration
• Skilled in motion design and animation
• Skilled in video editing techniques like splicing, sound balancing, color correction, color grading, trimming, rotoscoping, adding transitions, and applying visual effects to enhance video quality
  
  

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
