Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing technical teams and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of engineering activities with company objectives.
  • Evaluate and improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Manage budgeting and resource allocation for engineering projects.
  • Stay updated with advancements in engineering technology and industry trends.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in a managerial or leadership role within the engineering industry.
  • Strong technical expertise and knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
  • Certification (e.g., PMP) or membership in a relevant professional organization is a plus.
