Analytical Chemist

Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs chemical tests and analyses on samples submitted to the laboratory using available analytical instruments. Ensures that equipment operates under optimal conditions during testing and analysis.
• Performs test method development and validation.
• Verifies the accuracy of test results before issuing test reports and certificate of analysis to customers.
• Implements quality assurance programs and maintains good housekeeping practices in the daily operations of the laboratory.
• Participates in the review and updating of the laboratory’s quality system, including the review of standard test methods, sampling procedures, calibration, and the preventive maintenance plan of analytical equipment.
  
  

• Education: Graduate of B.S. in Chemistry and must be a licensed chemist.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of laboratory work, preferably on testing and chemical analysis.
• Knowledge: Background in quality assurance, analytical instrumentation techniques, and ISO 17025 compliance. Hands-on experience with MS, LC, GC, and thermal analyzers is a plus.
• Skills: Effective in planning, process analysis, and oral and written communication
• Willing for 5-days compressed workweek schedule
• Amenable to work and report onsite in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
