Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who has strong foundational accounting experience and is eager to grow into more complex responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who wants to deepen their expertise, gain broader visibility in a multinational environment, and work closely with an experienced Accounting Manager.

This position offers the chance to build confidence in key accounting processes, learn international practices, and collaborate within a supportive and fast-paced team.

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and contributing to process improvements that support the department’s goals and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations and Control
  • Review and validate journal entries, disbursements, invoices, payroll, and reimbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure financial data is complete and reliable.
  • Audit and reconcile accounts, including intercompany balances, and support resolution of variances. Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and requirements for internal and external audits.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Review and validate Balance Sheet and P&L statements.
  • Analyze financial data to spot variances and potential improvements.
  • Support management with accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning tasks as part of the team.
  • Process Improvement and Compliance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the creation and documentation of standardized accounting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen governance and reporting.
  • Collaboration and Team Support
  • Take an active role in supporting accounting operations and working closely with team members.
  • Assist in tracking team deliverables and ensuring priorities stay aligned with department goals.
  • Work with the Accounting Manager to maintain a culture of accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience handling core accounting processes in a corporate or shared service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City.
