Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a General and Commercial Accountant.

What are their Job Responsibilities:

• Supports all general accounting functions, including financial reporting, month-end closing, and compliance with local GAAP/IFRS standards.
• Lead the preparation and filing of timely & accurate tax returns, ensuring full compliance with all relevant tax laws and statutory requirements, including external audit.
• Act as a subject matter expert for all accounting and compliance issues.
• Work closely with accounting shared services and corporate team in ensuring accurate and timely submission of deliverables including flash & consolidation reporting.
• Conduct periodic trend and variance analysis, perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, and deliver insightful commentaries explaining key drivers behind financial movements to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive business success by supporting the operation in New Product Development (NPD) projects, scenario planning analysis, and P&L simulations, including financial outlook.
• Finance support in managing the marketing expense for Nissin.
• Support the team in the actuals reporting, business planning and forecast analysis.
• Drive process optimization initiatives, and manage strategic projects to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across financial operations.
  
  

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• Must be a CPA or has strong tax experience.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the field of accounting & finance operation is required for this position.
• Solid excel skills, knowledge and experience in SAP, Power BI is an advantage
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-pacing environment
• Willing to work in Libis, Quezon City.
