Your Role

As a Risk Officer, you will:

• Manage and update critical business databases for fleet maintenance and tyres to facilitate accurate quoting.
• Create and calculate maintenance and tyre budgets for new vehicle models and contract modifications.
• Analyze "Budgeted vs. Actual" costs and generate reports on sales strategy and projected excess kilometers.
• Evaluate specialized lease quotes and manage pricing variation requests in collaboration with Sales and Remarketing.
• Research new vehicle models and maintain lookup tables for registration, CTP, stamp duty, and dealer discounts.
  
  



What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the motor vehicle or fleet management industry.
• Proven technical background, preferably having served as a Mechanic, Service Advisor, or in a similar automotive role.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, specifically for manipulating large datasets and identifying cost trends.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external supplier networks.
• Strong analytical ability with a high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail in financial risk elements
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Automotive trade qualification, such as a Motor Vehicle Tradesperson’s Certificate.
• Demonstrated success in managing PPSR (Personal Property Securities Register) and vehicle data counts.
• Experience in preparing data for RFQ/Tender responses and Sale and Leaseback opportunities.
• Knowledge of regional vehicle accessories, concessional registration rules, and dealer discount structures.
• Ability to work autonomously to meet tight deadlines during peak pricing request periods.
