Your Role

As a Property Leasing Specialist, you will:

• Review lease agreements and identify key dates, options, rental provisions and tenure risks.
• Assess land ownership and confirm current landowner/contact details.
• Maintain accurate lease and contact records within Site Tracker and client databases.
• Prepare and issue lease renewal correspondence and information packs.
• Liaise with landowners regarding lease renewals, access requirements and commercial terms and obtain landowner agreement.
• Send documentation to solicitors and coordinate execution of lease documentation.
• Track lease status, milestones and client reporting requirements.
• Escalate tenure risks, disputes or renewal challenges to senior property staff.
• Support portfolio-wide lease renewal programs and reporting activities.

• Maintain accurate and complete property and landowner records.
• Protect and secure client tenure rights.
• Provide high levels of service to landowners, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Promote the professional reputation of CPS.

• Ensure compliance with all quality, WHS and client requirements.
  
  

WHS, Environmental And Quality Responsibilities

• Carry out your duties in a manner which does not adversely affect your own health and safety or that of others and in the spirit and word of the CPS Code of Conduct.
• Cooperate with measures introduced in the interests of workplace health and safety.
• Undertake any training provided.
• Immediately report all matters which may affect workplace health and safety to your supervisor / manager.
• Correctly use any information, training, personal protective equipment, and safety devices provided.
• Refrain from intentionally misusing or recklessly interfering with anything that has been provided for health and safety reasons.
• Undertake only those tasks for which you have authorisation for and/or the necessary training, and for which all necessary safety arrangements are in place.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Experience in property, lease administration, commercial real estate, telecommunications property or a related field.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting commercial lease documentation.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Professional approach with strong ethics and integrity.
• Customer-focused mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• At least 3 years Property Management experience, including commercial lease negotiation.
• Interest in the telecommunications industries.
• Attitude of self-development.
• Formal training in property will be considered very favourably.
