Your Role

As a Merchandising Manager, you will:

• Performance Analytics: Analyze sales, profitability, and inventory productivity to track category conversion and average transaction values.
• Pricing Coordination: Execute national price changes and ensure distributors provide accurate, timely pricing data to the category team.
• Operational Excellence: Develop training materials for store ordering portals and ensure retail audit actions are completed with the Compliance team.
• Store Development: Lead supplier activities for new and retrofit store projects, managing stock allocations and store opening standards.
• Merchandise Administration: Manage POS data, supplier rebates, and income tracking while incorporating international product trends into planograms.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Retail/QSR Leadership: 5–10 years of experience in retail or QSR environments, ideally with national franchise exposure.
• Financial Acumen: Strong ability to calculate and report on revenue, net income, and profit per square meter.
• Category Expertise: Deep understanding of category management processes, supply chain logistics, and C-store distribution.
• Negotiation & Influence: Proven capacity to negotiate with suppliers and influence internal stakeholders to achieve results.
• Compliance Knowledge: Strict adherence to HSSE policies, food safety standards, and regulatory OH&S requirements.
  
  



Preferred Skills/expertise

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Retail, or a related business discipline.
• Market Insight: Intimate knowledge of local and global trends in the auto and outdoor retail markets.
• Agile Adaptability: Experience thriving in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with a focus on accountability.
• Learning & Development: Prior success in creating training materials to improve in-store merchandising standards.
• Strategic Transformation: Track record of delivering value through customer experience or category transformations.
