Job Description

Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare, process, and submit compliance documents, reports, permits, and applications required by DENR and other regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor deadlines for permits, licenses, registrations, and report submissions to ensure timely compliance.
  • Maintain compliance calendars and tracking systems for all regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in securing, renewing, and updating environmental permits, clearances, and certifications.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to management.

Customs and Trade Compliance

  • Assist in preparing and processing import/export documentation and customs-related requirements.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies regarding shipment clearances and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain records of importation, exportation, and customs transactions.
  • Ensure supporting documents are complete and readily available for audits and inspections.

Documentation and Records Management

  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic compliance records.
  • Ensure all permits, licenses, certificates, and regulatory correspondence are properly filed and updated.
  • Prepare reports and compliance summaries for management review.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Coordination and Liaison

  • Coordinate with government agencies, inspectors, auditors, and external service providers.
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to gather compliance-related information.
  • Attend meetings, inspections, and regulatory visits when required.

Administrative Support

  • Draft correspondence, applications, and compliance-related communications.
  • Track and follow up pending applications, approvals, and regulatory submissions.
  • Perform other compliance and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Management, Customs Administration, Legal Management, or a related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in regulatory compliance, environmental compliance, customs documentation, or administrative support is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DENR regulations, environmental permits, and customs processes is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with government compliance procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based with occasional travel to government agencies and regulatory offices.
