About the role

The Influencer and Community Engagement Lead owns GoTyme Banks influencer and community strategy: from understanding who the taste-makers and taste-followers are, to building and maintaining relationships with them, to making sure every influencer engagement is chosen, briefed, and measured in a way that actually moves the brand forward. This role manages a talent mix spanning nano, micro, and mega influencers (eventually celebrities) as well as everyday individuals and communities, across categories like lifestyle, tech, family, food & beverage, fashion, and beauty. The KOL Lead also owns the annual influencer strategy, budget allocation, and execution to scale across GoTyme Bank’s always on and launch campaigns. 

Influencer & Community Landscape 

• Maintain a strong, current understanding of key influencers and communities — who the taste-makers are, who the taste-followers are, and how each group communicates and uses their platform. 

• Build and maintain the right connections, and know how to reach out to them effectively. 

• Stay current on social media trends and how people communicate across platforms. 

Content Briefing & Campaign Support 

• Develop different types of briefs suited to different content formats and campaign needs. 

• Understand how influencers contribute to a campaigns overall content strategy and integrate them effectively. 

Influencer Selection & Effectiveness 

• Choose influencers that are the right fit for the brand and the campaign — assessing reach, follower alignment with GoTymes target audience, and content quality. 

• Analyze engagement, impressions, and reach data to judge effectiveness, and use that data to keep improving selection. 

• Bring creativity to how GoTyme Bank engages with influencers, beyond standard sponsored posts. 

Relationship & Talent Management 

• Build long-term relationships with influencers rather than one-off transactions. 

• Manage a mix of nano, micro, and mega influencers, with a growing need to manage celebrity talent as the brand scales. 

• Also manage everyday individuals and communities, not just professional influencers. 

Community & Category Coverage 

• Maintain a solid understanding of the different communities GoTyme needs to reach across categories — lifestyle, tech, family, food & beverage, fashion, beauty, and others as the brand expands. 

• Know how to tailor influencer approach to each category and cohort. 

Reputation & Risk Management 

• Stay aware of issues involving specific influencers and how public sentiment toward them could affect GoTyme Banks brand reputation. 

• Flag and manage risk proactively before it becomes a brand issue. 

Project & Agency Management 

• Project-manage influencer campaigns end-to-end, including working with external agencies and analytics dashboards where needed. 

• Plan and execute product seeding — developing the concept and deciding the right timing for each KOL seeding initiative. 

Budget & Annual Strategy 

• Own budget allocation for influencer initiatives throughout the year. 

• Build the overall annual influencer strategy aligned with team objectives and KPIs. 

• Choose the right talent mix to elevate the brand while staying within budget. 

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.  

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in influencer/KOL marketing, social media, or talent management, preferably in fintech, tech, or consumer B2C.  

• Experience managing a mix of influencer tiers (nano to mega), with exposure to celebrity talent management a plus.  

• Proven experience with product seeding, content briefing, and campaign performance analysis.  

• Experience managing budgets and building annual strategic plans. 

• Strong project management skills and experience working with external agencies.
