Job Description
AU RTO Course & Careers Advisor (Hybrid)
About PeoplePartners
Some careers give you a job. The right one gives you room to grow.
PeoplePartners is a Great Place to Work® certified company built around a simple idea: great work starts with putting people first.
Here, you’ll connect with Australian businesses, gain valuable global exposure, and build experience that can take your career further. Expect a vibrant, supportive culture where learning is encouraged, growth is celebrated, and people genuinely enjoy being part of the team.
For this opportunity, you’ll support one of our Australian RTO clients and help prospective students make an important decision about what comes next.
Role Overview
Some sales roles are about selling whatever’s in front of you. This one is about helping someone choose what comes next.
As a Course & Careers Advisor, you’ll turn prospective-student interest into meaningful conversations—and meaningful conversations into the right enrollments.
You’ll speak with prospective students, understand what they want to achieve, guide them towards suitable course options, and help qualified students confidently move through the enrolment process.
It’s consultative. It’s people-focused. And yes, it’s still sales.
You’ll need to be comfortable picking up the phone, managing your pipeline, following up consistently, and working towards results—without making prospective students feel like pipeline numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage prospective student leads from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
Contact prospective students by phone to understand their study and career goals.
Provide information and guidance on suitable course options.
Qualify and progress leads through the sales pipeline.
Guide suitable students through the enrolment process.
Enroll students according to established policies and procedures.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective students.
Complete required daily lead management and sales activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM and other systems.
Prioritize leads and manage follow-up activities effectively.
Communicate professionally in spoken and written English.
Use relevant technology and systems to maintain daily productivity.
Work towards agreed sales and enrolment KPIs.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
2+ years of relevant experience in sales, lead management, enrollments, customer-facing roles with a commercial focus, or regular phone-based customer conversations.
Experience managing leads, follow-ups, or a sales pipeline.
Experience working towards sales KPIs or commercial targets.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong organization and follow-up skills.
Ability to listen, ask relevant questions, and build rapport.
Confidence learning and navigating different systems.
Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities.
Reliable internet access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Australian RTO sales experience.
Phone-based sales experience.
Consultative sales experience.
Lead conversion or student enrolment experience.
Experience with HubSpot.
Experience with Aircall.
Why Join PeoplePartners
