The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue targets, expand customer base, and drive business growth. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, setting sales goals, analyzing market trends, and building strong relationships with clients. The Sales Manager also plays a key role in coaching and mentoring sales staff to improve performance and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure individual and team targets are met.
  • Identify new market opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and customer outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and analyze data to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Production (Warehousing and Logistics), and Sales Admin and Finance teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for sales staff.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities related to sales.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Take prompt action on whatever task, duties and/or special job responsibilities that may be assigned and is needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Preferably with a Master’s degree in Business Administration
  • At least 2–5 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
