The District Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of medical sales representatives and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and guidance to a team of medical sales representatives, ensuring their professional growth, motivation, and success.
  • Sets clear sales objectives and targets for the team, monitors individual and overall performance, and takes necessary actions to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Communicates regularly with MSRs to inform them of directives or instructions issued by the marketing department to keep them abreast of policies and procedures.
  • Conducts regular customer visits, attends conferences, and participates in industry events to promote Hexagon TruMed’s products and enhance brand awareness.
  • Regularly conducts fieldwork visits to MSRs (Medical Sales Representatives) and performs audits to verify the accuracy of reports and accountable company properties.
  • Visits and communicates regularly with the Credit and Collection department to ensure that products are being distributed properly and customer payments are being handled correctly. Addresses any distribution or payment issues that may arise promptly to find effective resolutions.
  • Guides and supports MSRs in choosing the right MDs to target and equip them with effective selling skills to boost sales performance.
  • Enforces the code of conduct for field personnel in strict coordination with the Human Resources department.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Medical Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in leading a team of sales representatives.
  • Knowledge & skills in MS Office package (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Incumbent will handle Quezon, Bicol and Batangas areas
