• POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, POM Product Management is a pivotal role within BNY, responsible for driving product strategy and development within the Product Management function. As an Individual Contributor, the Vice President plays a crucial role in ensuring that product offerings meet market demands and client expectations, while upholding BNYs principles of integrity, collaboration, and accountability. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead the development and execution of product strategies by leveraging industry expertise and market insights to enhance product offerings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement by demonstrating effective stakeholder management. - Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by maintaining robust product governance and risk management practices. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to promote product adoption and client satisfaction. - Provide thought leadership and guidance on product management best practices to support the development of the product management function. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 5-8 years of experience. **SKILLS:** - Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive product innovation and market competitiveness. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Proficient in product lifecycle management and governance to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
