Senior System Consultant Network

As our new Senior System Consultant, Network, you will be designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity and robust security across Grundfos systems. What You Will Be Doing

As a key part of the Global IT Network Services team, youll create impact by Building secure, scalable network solutions that enable Grundfos to stay connected, protected, and ready for growth across our global operations.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Design and implement complex enterprise network solutions across LAN/WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments, defining architectural standards and guidelines
• Provide 3rd-level support, troubleshoot critical network issues, and serve as the escalation point for challenging technical problems
• Ensure network security and compliance by managing firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure access solutions
• Conduct knowledge transfers to peers, onsite services, and IT security teams while maintaining high-quality runbooks and technical documentation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, execute Agile/Scrum work items, and participate in incident resolution and problem management processes
• Manage vendor and partner interactions, oversee major operational activities, and handle non-standard changes including service windows
  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

Above all, you are a seasoned network professional with deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, and security — equally comfortable designing complex solutions and mentoring the next generation of engineers. We would also imagine that you have:

• 8–10 years of experience in network engineering or consulting, with strong LAN/WAN, firewall, and routing/switching expertise
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking and architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including hybrid environments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Deep understanding of network security protocols, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, and compliance standards
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, or cloud/firewall credentials (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper)
  
  

It is a plus if you also:

• Experience delivering client-facing consulting services and managing enterprise-level projects in multinational organizations
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and continuous deployment practices
• Experience with virtualization technologies and disaster recovery planning at scale
