About Our Client

Job Description

Monitors system performance, availability, and security.
Applies operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Manages user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Collaborates with other departments to determine IT needs and support business operations.
Monitors and responds to system alerts and incidents.
Maintains accurate documentation of systems and network configurations.
Supports audits, compliance, and data protection regulations.
Develops and maintains scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate routine system administration tasks.
Coordinates and executes production deployments of system updates, applications, and infrastructure changes while minimizing downtime and ensuring system stability.
Provides Tier 2/3 technical support as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Systems Administrator Should Have

At least two (2) or more years of experience in Server and Network Administration and Technical Support.
CompTIA Network+ (not required)
Experience with Windows Server and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat)
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and knowledge of firewall configuration and network security
Experience with Virtualization & Cloud (AWS, Azure)
System Monitoring & Management (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or PRTG)
Proven experience managing and executing production deployments in enterprise environments.
