Job Summary
The Warehouseman is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other warehouse items. The position ensures that all warehouse activities are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Properly store materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
Prepare and issue materials based on approved requisition requests.
Assist in loading and unloading deliveries.
Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Conduct regular inventory counting and assist in cycle counts and physical inventory.
Maintain accurate warehouse records and update inventory transactions as required.
Ensure that warehouse items are properly labeled and organized.
Practice First-In, First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) inventory procedures where applicable.
Report damaged, expired, missing, or non-conforming items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse.
Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
Comply with all company policies, warehouse procedures, and occupational health and safety standards.
Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications
High School Graduate, Senior High School Graduate, or College Level.
Experience in warehouse operations is an advantage.
Physically fit and capable of lifting warehouse materials.
Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse procedures.
Honest, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to render overtime when necessary.
Working Conditions
Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
May require prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
May be required to work overtime, weekends, or holidays depending on operational requirements.
