About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in US payroll processing and a deep understanding of US payroll laws and regulations. As a Payroll Specialist I, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, and providing support for payroll-related inquiries.

As a Payroll Specialist You Will

• Processes bi‑weekly/semi-monthly payroll for US employees
• Applies pay changes (salary updates, bonuses, commissions, overtime, deductions)
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
• Reviews payroll reports for accuracy, discrepancies, and audit readiness
• Provide accurate and timely responses to payroll-related inquiries received via the payroll inbox
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience processing US Payroll. Understanding US laws and regulations.
• Experience with US payroll administration, tax and/or garnishments preferred.
• Demonstrated ability working in a deadline orientated environment
• Must be able to handle employee issues in a professional and timely manner. Accuracy is a must.
• Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active team member.
