About The Role

This position focuses on providing immediate supervision assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining KPIs for the Procurement team. Responsible for overall open PO backlog management and first line escalation point for sales and internal clients.

As a Team Lead - IP You Will

• Plan, supervise, and manage day-to-day operations and personnel within the Procurement and Supply Chain operations function.
• Drive operational efficiency by evaluating and improving processes, procedures, systems, and business practices across Procurement.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal departments, representing Insight professionally and strengthening cross-functional relationships.
• Monitor team performance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with Service Level Agreements (order accuracy, processing time, backlog management).
• Oversee reporting and issue resolution, including AP and vendor issues, variances, loss reporting, and issuance of daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Support Category Managers through special projects such as spend analysis, cost baselines, RFP savings tracking, and contract compliance reporting, and perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Degree Holder
• Minimum of 3 years related field service operations experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working Knowledge of SAP (or other large ERP systems)
• Strong analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with various organizational levels.
• Ambitious, flexible, and aggressive. A self-starter who adapts easily to changing work environments and requirements and can drive for results.
