Title: Talent Development Officer

The Talent Development Officer will play a key role in implementing learning interventions within assigned business units. This role ensures that programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of employees, fostering growth and enabling them to contribute effectively to organizational success. The position likewise ensures alignment and compliance of all Talent Development Policies of Burger King Philippines to Burger King Corporation and Jollibee Foods Corporation.

  • Conducts and facilitates the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA), including creating procedures, templates, and recommendations for improving training policies and programs.
  • Supports Area Managers in identifying capability gaps and training priorities for restaurant management teams.
  • Designs and develops leadership and technical training programs for officers and specialists, ensuring alignment with competency requirements.
  • Establishes enrollment, budgeting, and scheduling guidelines to optimize program participation and resource use.
  • Selects appropriate learning methodologies and ensures high‑quality training materials and instructional resources are developed.
  • Prepares, evaluates, and manages program budgets, and submits the annual training plan for officers and specialists.
  • Defines criteria for selecting and accrediting external training providers and designs systems or templates that improve training information management.
  • Implements and documents talent development programs, monitors trainee progress, and develops evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness and behavioral impact.
  • Oversees Burger King Corporation’s required training programs by auditing implementation, ensuring trainer and restaurant certifications, and maintaining compliance with BKC standards.
  • Stays updated on talent development trends and performs special projects related to training, career development, organizational development, and training administration.

Job Qualifications

  • A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related fields.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of relevant work experience, including curriculum design and delivery.
  • Possess strong project management, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Expertise in instructional design and evaluation of learning programs.
  • Proficiency in digital training platforms and multimedia tools.
  • Willing to do fieldwork as needed.
  • Willing to be assigned to a hybrid work setup in Ortigas, Pasig.
