Software Engineer - Avaloq Consultant

The Avaloq Developer (Consultant) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Avaloq Core Banking System. This role involves working closely with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. The developer utilizes Avaloq Script and parameterization to enhance system functionality and ensure optimal performance. With a strong understanding of banking operations and integration methods, the Avaloq Developer (Consultant) plays a key role in delivering scalable and efficient solutions in line with project and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Customize and extend Avaloq Core using Avaloq Script and parameterization.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and implement technical solutions across areas such as payments, securities, or client data.
• Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs).
• Support testing, documentation, and post-deployment activities.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and project timelines.
  
  
  

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development or customization.
• Background in private banking, wealth management, or financial services.
• Strong skills in PL/SQL, Oracle databases, and Avaloq Script.
• Solid understanding of banking processes and Avaloqs data model.
• Avaloq certification (e.g., ACCP) is an advantage.
• Amenable to work in morning shift or afternoon shift.
