Requirements

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost effective way while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
  • Directs, plans, monitors and coordinates all activities of Purchasing to ensure delivery of services efficiently and effectively.
  • Canvasses for better and more affordable items (local and imported).
  • Determines best quotation and selects supplier with good delivery records and quality goods
  • Negotiates payment terms which are most beneficial to the company
  • Ensures that items purchased are covered by budget and the acquisition is authorized by the proper parties
  • Implement procurement strategy and policies
  • Develops and implements purchasing strategies for products
  • Forecast procurement needs
  • Create and implement KPI’s
  • Continuously searches for and develop new suppliers
  • Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
  • Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to suppliers through RFQ process
  • Maintain procurement files
  • Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers
  • Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action
  • Lead the procurement group in all phases
  • Formulates policy on the accreditation of Suppliers
  • Track Purchasing activity and measurements including mobile and petrol usage
  • Prepares data for budget preparation
  • Ensure supplier compliance company requirements for code of conduct and safety

Do you have what it takes? If you want to be considered for this role you will need:

  • Preferably candidates with Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
  • Preferably 7 to 10 years related experience as Stock Management and Logisitic Manager
  • With knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
  • Updated with trends in the market
  • Negotiations and networking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • With excellent communications skills
  • Proficient in MS Offices
  • Willing to work in Brgy. Kalawaan, Pasig City
