Position description: The Senior SEO Specialist drives organic growth by executing and optimizing on-page, technical, and off-page strategies while staying ahead of emerging solutions or strategies (e.g.Generative Engine Optimization). The role delivers impactful insights through advanced SEO tools and reporting, supports multiple client accounts, and ensures campaigns translate into measurable business results. As a senior member of the team, this role also contributes to process improvements, and mentoring junior teammates to elevate overall SEO excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
Understanding on clients goals and providing strategical solution to reach clients goal.
To go beyond just client request, and understand clients or teams goal
Manage a team of people, and juggle between clients
Assist in x team ramp ups, to understand and help in managing execution for L3s and others in the team
Provide a level of mentorship beyong just execution, but teaching, encouraging, and developing talent within the team
Comprehensive understanding of success metrics for the client team, and a sense on how to deliver and communicate this to internal and external stakeholder.
Communicate these metrics, goals, and executions to all stakeholders
Engaged in conversations across functions on how to best serve the client
Job Requirements
3+ years relevant experience working in SEO role.
Has strong SEO understanding pertaining to on-page, technical and off-page SEO.
Stay up to date with emerging search trends and strategies, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-powered search features.
Able to initiate and contribute to R&D initiative to help expand teams expertise and improve service offering.
Proven working experience with related SEO tools and reporting platforms, especially SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, GA4, GSC, Lookerstudio, GTM, content management platforms, etc. Experience with SEO enterprise tools (e.g. Brightedge, etc.) and project management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, etc.). is a strong advantage.
Able to create purposeful reports and dashboards tailored to client needs. Provide quality insights and recommendations through all SEO components for continuous SEO campaign improvement based on campaign results independently.
Able to work on several key accounts. Also ready to take on extra project(s) on top of existing tasks when requested.
Strong written and verbal communication skills by translating complex seo metrics into strategic insights that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Able to articulate SEO strategies, plans, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Works proactively with internal and cross-functional teams to ensure SEO efforts are aligned with broader campaign timelines and delivery goals, contributing to smooth execution and resource alignment.
Has outcome-focused mindset - always strive to work meaningfully by knowing its purpose and impact, especially translating SEO best practices into tangible results that support marketing objectives and overall revenue goals.
Able to drive operational excellence across SEO disciplines, ensuring deliverables are optimized for maximum impact and efficiency.
Continuously evaluates workflows to identify bottlenecks. Leads process documentation and standardization efforts to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Demonstrated interest in continued skills development, especially around digital marketing, SEO trends, digital campaign, data analytics, and others.
Strong interest in learning about new B2B industries and how SEO can help in achieving the marketing goals.
Serve as a knowledge resource for junior teammates and level up juniors or mentees to be independent
