We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to oversee financial operations across our real estate portfolio and support strategic decision-making.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analyses.
• Oversee property accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Coordinate with property managers and asset managers to analyze financial performance.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for multiple properties.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, lease agreements, and financial reporting standards.
• Conduct audits and maintain internal financial controls.
• Support external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits and tax filings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in property/real estate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles, GAAP, and tax regulations.
• Experience with Yardi property investment software is required.
• Experience with property management software (e.g., MRI, or RealPage) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Amenable to work in US hours.
• Amenable to work onsite.
