💼 What You Will Do

As a key member of IDP’s Privacy & Compliance Team, you will:

🛡️ Lead Privacy Governance

• Maintain and enhance IDP’s global Privacy Framework.
• Manage privacy assets including the Personal Data Inventory and Privacy Register.
• Administer and optimize our Privacy Management Software (OneTrust).
  
  

⚠️ Manage Risk and Incidents

• Identify, assess, and remediate privacy risks and incidents.
• Contribute to senior management reporting on privacy performance and risk posture.
  
  

🔍 Embed Privacy by Design

• Provide expert advice on new initiatives, ensuring privacy is built into every stage of development.
• Review Privacy Impact Assessments and recommend proportionate mitigation strategies.
• Lead implementation of regulatory changes and update privacy notices, consents, and collection statements.
  
  

📊 Drive Assurance and Controls

• Support business units in implementing privacy controls.
• Conduct control testing and assurance activities to validate compliance.
  
  

📚 Educate and Empower

• Develop and maintain privacy training and awareness programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and completion across global teams.
  
  

🌐 Engage Globally

• Collaborate with regional privacy representatives, DPOs, and cross-functional teams including HR, Marketing, Tech, and Legal.
• Provide clear, actionable advice to internal stakeholders and support vendor privacy assessments.
  
  

🧩 Support Broader Compliance

• Contribute to wider compliance initiatives and training programs within IDP’s Legal & Governance function.
  
  

👤 Who You Are

You’re a privacy professional who brings:

• Strong knowledge of GDPR and other complex privacy laws.
• Experience in privacy impact assessments, regulatory change, and privacy by design.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into practical business advice.
• A collaborative mindset and confidence working with global stakeholders.
• Experience with OneTrust or similar GRC platforms (desirable).
• Relevant certifications such as IAPP or GDPR Practitioner (preferred).
