Job Description
- You perform middle office activities related to the investment activities conducted by the portfolio managers of the Luxembourg-based Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM).
- You operate with a high degree of autonomy, acting as an extension of the Luxembourg team and taking ownership of processes.
- You interpret and apply complex legal agreements to ensure accurate execution and compliance with fund requirements.
- You proactively identify and resolve issues where precedent may not exist, applying judgment within established frameworks.
- You monitor the reception of executed documents post-transaction within the regulatory 3‑month deadline, and follow up with clients when needed.
- You store the documents in folders according to a procedure you help define.
- You prepare execution notices (confirming the execution and terms thereof), subject to a 4‑eyes check by the Portfolio Manager.
- You maintain the post‑acquisition folders with a standard set of documents.
- You reconcile significant cash movements (above a threshold to be defined) against approvals.
- You escalate discrepancies and propose corrective actions independently.
- You manually allocate emails in the common mailbox to clients’ folders.
- You prioritize and manage communications with minimal supervision.
- You confirm to other stakeholders, when required, the executed transactions and their terms.
- You review and interpret transaction documentation to ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements.

Requirements
- You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics or an equivalent discipline.
- You bring a minimum of four years of work experience in finance-related positions.
- You have a very good command of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You are fluent in English.
